Droppable does not own any of your data, sell it to others or use it for advertising. We do not operate our own servers. We rely only on a few third-party services listed below that are technically required to make Droppable work.
Website analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 on this website to collect and process basic analytics to understand how it is used. Please refer to Google Privacy Policy to understand how your information is being safeguarded.
File Storage: We use Google API services to store your transfer data on your Google Drive. When signing in, you give Droppable permission to see, edit, create, and delete only the specific Google Drive files that Droppable uses. The use and transfer of your information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You agree to be bound by the Google Privacy Policy when using Droppable.
Transfer emails: We use Brevo to send your transfers to the recipients you specify. The information shared includes your name and email, as well as name, size and the download link of your transfer files. You agree to be bound by the Brevo Privacy Policy when using Droppable.
Contacts: During onboarding of the App, Droppable might ask for permission to view your Google and Apple Contacts. If enabled, Contacts will be stored in your local database on the computed Droppable was installed on. The information stored includes name, email and ID. Contacts are then used to offer auto-complete as you start typing recipient’s email address when creating new file transfers. The use and transfer of your information received from Google APIs will adhere to Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Payments: Droppable is a native MacOS App, distributed via the Mac App Store. We use in-app Purchases within Droppable. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy to understand how your information is being safeguarded.
Other services: We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash and error reports. You agree to be bound by the Firebase Privacy Policy when using Droppable.
We strive to securely handle your information in line with our Privacy Policy. However, no system is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee the absolute security of the information you share. We disclaim liability for any unauthorized disclosures to the fullest extent allowed by law.
Using our Services or sharing personal information means you consent to electronic communication about security, privacy, and administrative matters. In case of a security breach, we'll aim to notify you electronically via Service postings, mail, or email.
Your personal information is retained according to this Privacy Policy for as long as you utilize the Application or as needed to fulfil the purpose(s) for which it was gathered, deliver our Services, and adhere to relevant laws.
